SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 4:47 p.m. on Capri Drive. Two juveniles were reported to police for entering an abandoned building with backpacks.

BATTERY: 5:15 p.m. A caller reported that two juveniles hit them in the face multiple times with a weapon that looked like an airsoft gun. They declined medical attention and continued their walk.

BATTERY: 8 p.m. at Pizza My Heart on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported that their 13-year-old son was shot in the eye with a paintball gun.

VANDALISM: 10:31 a.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and Blossom Hill Road. A caller reported that she honked at a vehicle and the driver threw “a bottle of something” at her vehicle.

LOUD MUSIC: 12:11 a.m. at Hanna Noodle Bar on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported loud music and possibly karaoke at the establishment.

TRESPASS: 9:53 a.m. at Cherrystone Drive and Cherry Blossom Lane. A caller reported that someone has been trespassing at the community pool and sleeping in the area. They said that the individual had previously been asked to leave and usually did.

VANDALISM: 7:08 p.m. on Howes Drive. Someone reportedly threw gravel into the caller’s pool earlier that day.

VANDALISM: 7:49 p.m. on Cherrystone Drive. A caller reported that they heard a loud noise and then saw a hole in their bedroom wall. They said they didn’t know what it was and weren’t sure if it was the result of a projectile.

BATTERY: 12:46 a.m. at the Black Watch on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman said her roommate threw a drink on her after she told him he “seemed jealous.” She has been trying to get him to move out, she told police.


Sept. 3
JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 2:45 p.m. at A & G Construction on East Main Street. A group of 10 juveniles were reportedly yelling at a woman. She said this has been an ongoing issue.

PARKING VIOLATION: 2:58 p.m. at Los Gatos Oaks Apartments on Blossom Hill Road. A caller reported that a white Tesla was parked in a fire lane, and when he told the driver of the vehicle to move, she laughed and told him to “quite harassing her.”

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 7:11 p.m. at Bachman Park on Bachman Avenue. Ten dogs were reportedly off-leash at the park. The caller said they’d previously attacked her and her dog.



2024-09-03 -Vandals tamper with cameras set up by Los Gatos resident

VANDALISM: 11:12 a.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and Highway 17. Two excavators were tagged with graffiti and their fuel lines were cut overnight at a Granite Construction site.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 12:46 p.m.  at De Soto Drive and Drakes Bay Avenue. A white SUV was cutting off other vehicles. The male driver threw a glass bottle at two other vehicles. No damage was reported.

VANDALISM: 4:08 p.m. at Santa Rosa Drive and Sierra Azule. Two cameras set up by the caller in the area were tampered with. They were spray-painted and wires were cut.

BURGLARY: 9:30 a.m. at Le Le Cakes and Bakery on Blossom Hill Road. A  window was smashed and about $700 was taken.

PETTY THEFT: 4:53 p.m. at Office Depot on Los Gatos Boulevard. Two males stole a laptop.

GRAND THEFT: 9:52 p.m. at Specialized Retail Store on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A gray Trek bike worth $8,000 was stolen from in front of the store.


Aug. 31
PETTY THEFT: 7:22 a.m. on Fillmer Avenue. A diabetes-related prescription medical device was stolen from a resident’s porch within about an hour after delivery.

PETTY THEFT: 7:28 a.m. at Aventino Apartments on Winchester Circle. An Amazon package containing a car stereo was stolen. According to Amazon, the item was delivered to a safe locker.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 9:32 p.m. at Live Oak Manor Park on Carlton Avenue. A caller reported that she could hear someone playing basketball after hours. She was trying to put her kids to bed and said it was too loud.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:13 a.m. on Shady Lane. A caller reported that a group of juveniles covered their residence in toilet paper, rang their doorbell seven times and then drove off.

STOLEN VEHICLE: 12:39 p.m. on Blossom Hill Road. A 2009 black Audi convertible with the keys left inside was reported missing.

BATTERY: 6:27 p.m. at Lyndon Plaza on South Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported that their former employer slapped them during an exchange of property. They chased the former employer and jumped on his car to stop him from leaving, but fell off the car.

VANDALISM: 7:35 a.m. on College Terrace Court. Someone egged a car the night before and left the egg cartons.

VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 8:28 p.m. at Belridge and Bacigalupi drives. A caller reported a juvenile was doing laps around the neighborhood on a dirt bike.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 2:04 p.m. at Villa Avenue and East Main Street. A man wearing a tail and a hat with ears was walking on Villa Avenue, checking car doors.

COUNTERFEIT: 1:27 p.m. at Cinelux Theatre on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Reporting an incident from Aug. 10, a caller said someone attempted to use a counterfeit $50 bill. When the person realized that the business knew it was counterfeit, he left.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:04 p.m. at Monterey Avenue and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A caller reported that six juveniles were standing in the middle of the road, and threw water bottles at them when they drove past.

GRAND THEFT: 1:36 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy on Pollard Road. About $2,000 worth of items were stolen from the store.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 11:14 p.m. at Bachman Park on Bachman Avenue. Six juveniles in the park were reportedly “being loud.”

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 11:00 a.m. on Avenida Del Sol. A caller reported that two juveniles were fishing at the private lake in the complex for the third time. One of the juveniles told the caller that he was going to “have his grandma come back with an AK47.”

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 10:54 p.m. at Englewood Avenue. A caller reported that juveniles came over to argue with their son, and one of them threw a traffic sign on their front yard.

BURGLARY: 8:20 a.m. at Los Gatos High School on High School Court. Someone stole approximately 200 iPads from the school’s library and tech office, breaking a window to get access.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH NO INJURIES: 8:42 a.m. at Starbucks on Union Avenue. A vehicle crashed into a building.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:06 p.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and West Main Street. A caller reported that at least four juveniles were shooting  “jelly balls” out of a water gun from a vehicle.


July 27
BATTERY: 4:15 p.m. on West Main Street. A caller said two juveniles on bikes or e-bikes rode past him, hitting him in the face with a bottle. He said they tried to take his cell phone, but he did not sustain any injuries. Witnesses in the area told him they may be on the way to Fisher Middle School.

BATTERY: 3:35 p.m. at Blossom Hill Park on Blossom Hill Road. A caller reported that months ago, someone was riding through the park and threw a bottle of coke at them. They were also upset about e-bikes.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7:09 p.m. at Madera Court and Santa Rosa Drive. A group of juveniles were drinking and urinating in bushes.

VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 8:30 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Lark Avenue. A caller reported 25 motorcycles were on the road, waving their arms and doing wheelies.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 10:21 p.m. at Los Gatos High School on High School Court. A vehicle was doing donuts in the parking lot near the football field.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 11:10 p.m. at Alta Vista School on Blossom Valley Drive. Three people were reportedly playing basketball and yelling.

PETTY THEFT: 2:36 a.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Juveniles stole toilet paper.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 11:08 a.m. on East Vineland Avenue. A caller said a dog had been barking almost nonstop for about four hours.

WIRES DOWN: 4:32 p.m. at Spectrum Eye Physicians on Monterey Avenue. A caller reported that a power line was down and the end of the line was on fire. County fire said PG&E shut down the power, and no injuries were reported.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:50 p.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and West Main Street. A group of juveniles were reportedly throwing water balloons at pedestrians from a car that was driving up and down North Santa Cruz Avenue.

VANDALISM: 5:43 a.m. at Los Gatos High School. A caller reported that the gates to the school’s pool were open, beer cans and other trash were left behind, and tables and the lifeguard stand were in the pool.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: 3:11 p.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and West Main Street. A man was reportedly running into traffic and to pedestrians, pulling his pants down and exposing himself.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 12:15 p.m. on Garden Hill Drive. A man was sitting under a tree with a bicycle, yelling racial epithets at an Asian woman and her mother.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 4:57 p.m. at Blossom Hill Road and Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller reported a group selling Trump merchandise on the street corner, which the caller felt was “highly offensive.”

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:54 p.m. at Magneson Loop and Magneson Terrace. Two juveniles on e-bikes reportedly threw a water balloon at the caller.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7:48 p.m. at Aventino Apartments on Winchester Circle. Three juveniles were reportedly encouraging another juvenile to jump off a bridge that crosses the creek on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. They were also throwing rocks at him.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:48 p.m. at Willow Street Pizza on South Santa Cruz Avenue. An unknown number of juveniles were on the second floor of the building throwing hotdogs. The caller said it has been an ongoing issue.

AUTO BURGLARY: 1:56 p.m. at New York and Pleasant avenues. A caller reported that her ex-boyfriend’s brother stole her purse from her vehicle. She said he’s been stealing from her for 18 years but had had no proof that he’d taken the purse.

GRAND THEFT: 12:11 p.m. at Lark Avenue and Highway 17: A man started throwing gold jewelry at the victim and asking for money. The victim took him to a Wells Fargo ATM and made several withdrawals for $300 each.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:38 p.m. at Belgatos Park on Belgatos Lane. Two juveniles on motorbikes were riding in the park, a caller reported.

VANDALISM: 9:09 p.m. at West Main Street and North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two juveniles were throwing rocks at cars and hit the caller’s car, which was parked nearby.

GRAND THEFT: 10:42 a.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller from the Safeway reported an incident from two days prior in which a woman stole two bags of Head and Shoulders shampoo and Old Spice body wash, totaling about $1,000.

TRESPASS: 3:29 p.m. at Van Meter School on Los Gatos Boulevard. Three juveniles were seen on the roof of the school.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:44 p.m. at Lyndon Plaza on South Santa Cruz Avenue. An individual was throwing objects that could have been ice or rocks from the roof or second level of a building onto vehicles on the street.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 9:55 p.m. at Bachman Park on Bachman Avenue. A group of people in the park were reported for being loud, yelling, screaming and laughing.

TRESPASS: 2:29 p.m. at Los Gatos Lodge on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A guest who had a cat with her refused to leave the establishment.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:13 p.m. at Lyndon Plaza on South Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported that juveniles were throwing hot dogs at cars from the corner of the upstairs balcony.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 2:37 p.m. on South Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported that two juveniles were throwing ice at them.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 12:20 a.m. on Oka Road. A caller reported that her upstairs neighbor has been stomping and vacuuming on and off for over an hour.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 12:18 p.m. at Belvue Drive and Belglen Lane. Two women were reportedly going door to door, distributing anti-homosexual literature on doorsteps.

BATTERY: 2:08 p.m. at East Main Street and Villa Avenue. A caller reported that a group of juveniles on e-bikes were riding on the sidewalk, and one of them threw a cup of soda at him. After he went to work to clean up and dry off and came back outside, the same kids threw another soda at him.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7:29 p.m. at Victory Lane and West Main Street. A caller reported seven or eight teenagers who were throwing a football around for a few minutes and refused to leave.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7:02 p.m. at Fisher Middle School on Fisher Avenue. At least two juveniles were reportedly running on the roof of older buildings in the area, holding brown bottles that could have been beer.

GRAND THEFT: 3:04 p.m. on High School Court. A grayish-blue Super 73 ebike with a broken kickstand and scratched up left handlebar, valued at $4,000, was stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 12:51 p.m. at Lunardis Market on Blossom Hill Road. A customer had her wallet stolen from the store.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 1:09 p.m. at Jack In The Box on Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller said the drive-through speaker was excessively loud and amplified, and that employees would turn it down and then turn the volume back up.

GRAND THEFT: on High School Court. A black Happy Run ebike valued at $90 was stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 4:24 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The victim left a wallet in the basket, and the wallet was gone when he went back to the store. The salon across the street found the wallet in the trash, recognized the victim and contacted him. His credit cards and ID were still in the wallet, but $350-$400 was missing.

GRAND THEFT: 4:16 at CVS Pharmacy on Pollard Road. Three women stole about $2,500 worth of facial products. Two suspects distracted employees while the third stole items off the shelf.

VANDALISM: 5:57 p.m. on Newell Avenue. Four juveniles egged and TPed a house, then drove by multiple times. The caller said their daughter’s new car had paint damage, and they believed one of the juveniles was their daughter’s ex-boyfriend.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 6:01 p.m. on Charter Oaks Circle. A man was going door to door claiming to be with PG&E. The caller believed he was attempting to scam people and has been in area before doing the same thing.

PETTY THEFT: 11:41 a.m. at Great Bear Coffee on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman’s wallet was stolen her credit cards were used at the Apple Store. SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 12:15 p.m. on Marchmont Drive. Two suspects wearing work clothing told a resident they work for PG&E and needed to access the backyard. The residents talked to them on Ring camera, but they were looking away.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 10:13 p.m. on Lark Avenue. A man drove by and saw some people he knew with cans of alcohol. He was afraid the party would get out of hand.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 12:48 a.m. at Riviera Terrace Apartments on Riviera Drive. A resident heard loud boom. They said their neighbor moves furniture in the middle of night, and they just wanted the police to be aware of noise.

BURGLARY: 1:29 a.m. on Belwood Gateway. A resident got home and found jewelry missing.

April 7
GRAND THEFT: 8:46 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy on Pollard Road. A caller reported that individuals stole more than $3,000 of perfume and men’s cologne from the store, forcing a locked cabinet open to access the items.

PENAL CODE VIOLATION: 1:23 p.m. at Los Gatos Boulevard and the Highway 85 onramp. A group of 20 protestors were reportedly throwing objects, which could have been rocks, onto the freeway.


April 5
JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 3:08 p.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. A caller reported a group of 10 to 20 middle school-age kids fighting behind the store.

TRESPASS: 8:26 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A group of roughly 15 teenagers were reportedly outside the store, looking to steal beers and other items.

PROWLER: 4:59 a.m. on Pine Avenue. A caller reported that she could see someone on her property with a flashlight, who had also been on her neighbor’s property earlier.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 2:58 p.m. at Whitney Avenue and Stacia Street. Someone was reportedly driving down the street with a kid on the hood of the car who was screaming for the driver to stop.

DEFRAUD INKEEPER: 10:09 p.m. at Teleferic Barcelona on University Avenue. A man told the restaurant that he could not pay his bill and tried leaving the restaurant. After restaurant staff stopped him from leaving, he called his friends to pay.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:11 p.m. at Victory Lane and West Main Street. A caller reported 15 juveniles in the bathroom, saying they are “causing issues” with customers.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH NO INJURIES: 3:53 p.m. at Withey Road and Beck Avenue. A truck hit an oak tree, causing its limbs to fall down and damage to the truck.

PETTY THEFT: 8:23 p.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. A man walked out of the store with a cart containing $100 of meat. The caller, a customer, said this has happened before.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 10:34 a.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. A group of six to eight teenagers were reportedly drinking beer outside the store. The manager described them as “verbally aggressive.”

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 7:01 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Lark Avenue. A caller reported a group of 40 motorcycles running red lights and doing wheelies in the area.

PETTY THEFT: 7:43 p.m. on Dover Street. A caller reported that their mail and their neighbors’ mail was stolen. One of the caller’s neighbors had his entire mailbox stolen.

LOUD MUSIC: 1:24 a.m. at Three Oaks Apartment on Forrest Avenue. A caller reported loud music playing in another unit. The caller told police that they have previously spoken to the tenant to resolve the issue, but the tenant continues to play loud music.

PETTY THEFT: 11:50 a.m. at Sephora on University Avenue. A caller reported an incident that took place on Feb. 12 in which $140 worth of items were stolen.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:33 p.m. at All About Eyes on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported a group of four to five juveniles on the roof.

PETTY THEFT: 2:06 a.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two individuals were reported having stolen a cart full of cold medicine.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 5:50 p.m. at Los Gatos High School on High School Court. A caller reported an individual who has been on the property for the “last few months” who has been staring at female athletes.



2024-03-12 -Los Gatos residents report suspicious men claiming to be PG&E employees

March 4
BURGLARY: 11:14 a.m. at Valero on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. Two men broke into the Valero gas station and stole gas cans. They also damaged a storage cabinet and broke into storage shed outdoors. The caller said one man used a credit card to buy gas before the leaving scene.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 3:10 p.m. at Riviera Terrace Apartments on Riviera Drive. A man wearing a blue jacket with badge on left and carrying clipboard said he worked for PG&E and asked to see the resident’s bill due to several customers claiming discrepancies on their bill.


March 5
LOST PROPERTY: 2:02 p.m. on Brocastle Way. A woman left her purse on the top of her car and drove away. She lost her purse while driving; it contained her driver’s license and credit cards and about $40.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: 6:31 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Lark Avenue. A man was laying on the train tracks on Winchester. The caller was concerned that he could be hit by vehicles.


March 6
BURGLARY: 11:40 a.m. on Daves Avenue. Suspects entered a house via a sliding glass door. The house appeared to be ransacked, and electronics were taken.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 6:56 p.m. on Monroe Court. A man knocked on a resident’s door and asked to see their PG&E bill. The resident thought it was a scam.

PETTY THEFT: 6:33 a.m. at Live Oak Apartments on Blossom Hill Road. A resident went to check their mail this morning, and all of the mailboxes were open and her mail had been stolen.

PETTY THEFT: 8:22 a.m. at Los Olivos Medical Group on National Avenue. Gift cards worth $150-$200 were stolen from locked cabinets, and the locks were damaged. The caller noticed computers and objects in the office were rummaged through overnight, but nothing was taken.

STOLEN VEHICLE: 8:34 a.m. on Cypress Way. A white Chevy Camaro was stolen. The caller thought the passenger window had been broken due to large amount of glass in the roadway.

PETTY THEFT: 11:05 a.m. on Surmont Court. An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through overnight, and two pair of sunglasses were taken. The garage door opener was used, and a backpack with school items was stolen from the garage.

BURGLARY: 6:12 p.m. on Belblossom Way. The lock to the gate was cut, and electronics and other items were taken from the garage of a residence under construction.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 3:24 p.m. on National Avenue. A man wearing a reflective vest and jeans said he was there to read meters, and the resident refused to open the door.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:10 p.m. at Main St Burgers on South Santa Cruz Avenue. Two juveniles were throwing items off of balcony at passing cars and pedestrians.

GRAND THEFT: 11:44 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy on Pollard Road. Suspects stole several items valued at over $1,000.

VANDALISM: 3:30 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Three juveniles brought chips and threw them all around the elevator lobby and rode their electric bicycles over the chips, causing staining and damage to carpet in the lobby.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 4:33 p.m. on Sycamore Court. A man was going door to door asking if people wanted to buy candy. The caller believed he was casing homes.

PETTY THEFT: 4:17 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported that two men stole $500 worth of laundry detergent from the store.


Feb. 29
PETTY THEFT: 2:47 p.m. at Trader Joe’s on Los Gatos Boulevard. A man took $15 worth of frozen items from the store.

BATTERY: 6:41 p.m. at College Avenue and East Main Street. A man was walking his dog, and a four-door sedan drove up to him and threw a bag of “unknown items” at him, challenging him to a fight.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 7:58 p.m. at Valley Oaks Apartments on Oak Rim Way. A gray sedan was seen driving on the sidewalk. Feb. 23VANDALISM: 7:41 p.m. at Main Street Burgers on South Santa Cruz Avenue. About 30-40 juveniles were throwing chairs around and refusing to leave. Feb. 24PETTY THEFT: 2:01 p.m. at Drybar on Los Gatos Boulevard. Approximately $200 worth of items were stolen from the salon. Feb. 25MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATION: 4:28 p.m. on Howes Drive. A man was reportedly using a gas-powered leaf blower for three hours.



2024-02-20 -Thieves take ‘a lot of items’ from Los Gatos CVS

Feb. 14
PETTY THEFT: 3:41 p.m. at Office Depot on Los Gatos Boulevard. Two suspects entered the store and stole $300 worth of electronics.

BURGLARY: 3:41 p.m. on Eaton Lane. A sliding glass door was broken, and clothes were thrown all over the place.


Feb. 15
PETTY THEFT: 3:41 p.m. at Ace Hardware on Los Gatos Boulevard. A laser level was stolen.

BURGLARY: 2:38 p.m. on Regent Drive. A resident returned home from vacation to find his back door was pried open. Nothing was missing from the house.


Feb. 16
PARKING VIOLATION: 2:38 p.m. at Greenwood Road and Greenwood Lane. Someone was parked in a ”no parking” lane. The caller requested that officers threaten them with clubs.


Feb. 17
GRAND THEFT: 12:02 a.m. on Greenwood Road. A women’s watch, diamond necklace and amethyst earrings were stolen from a residence for a loss of $15,500.


Feb. 18
STOLEN VEHICLE: 10:55 a.m. on Whitney Avenue. A 1999 gold Suburban was reported missing.

PETTY THEFT: 3:23 p.m. on Roxbury Lane. A vehicle was rummaged through, and registration and insurance paperwork taken.

PETTY THEFT: 3:38 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy on Blossom Hill Road. Two suspects “took a lot of items” from the store, stuffing merchandise in their skirts.

STOLEN VEHICLE: 4:18 p.m. at Number One Broadway on South Santa Cruz Avenue. A 2016 brown Nissan Altima sedan was reported missing.



2024-02-06 -Juveniles seen throwing food from balcony above Los Gatos restaurant

Jan. 30BATTERY: 1:27 p.m. on East Main Street. During an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, a man grabbed the caller by his neck and told him he “was not messing around” and was going to mess the caller up.

PETTY THEFT: 5:51 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A caller reported $500 worth of items were stolen from Ace Hardware. Feb. 2GRAND THEFT: 10:27 a.m. on Altura Vista. A caller reported jewelry missing from their home, but was unsure when it may have been taken. The jewelry was worth approximately $10,000.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 4:57 p.m. at Main St. Burgers on South Santa Cruz Avenue. Two kids were throwing food over the balcony above the restaurant onto people walking by and crossing the street. Feb. 3VANDALISM: 3:26 p.m. on Milmar Way. Someone entered the backyard of a residence the night before and cut six hanging lights. They then jumped over a fence and went onto the patio, attempting to open the sliding door to enter the house.

PETTY THEFT: 12:41 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy on Blossom Hill Road. Two women stole over-the-counter medicine. Jan. 25VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 8:38 a.m. at Pollard Road and More Avenue. A caller reported an ongoing issue at the intersection, where drivers are constantly speeding and running red lights. He said drivers often ignore crossing guards and requested more traffic enforcement. Jan. 26GRAND THEFT: 7:29 p.m. on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller’s wife noticed her wallet missing, and noted one $1,500 purchase on her card that went through and another $8,000 purchase that was declined. Jan. 27JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7:21 p.m. on Via Santa Maria. A caller reported that approximately five juveniles were riding e-bikes in the area and pounded on her door two separate times.

STOLEN VEHICLE: 10:04 p.m. on Withey Road. A 2002 black Toyota Tundra was stolen. Jan. 28VEHICLE TAMPERING: 1:16 p.m. on University Ave. A caller reported that the license plates were stolen from her car.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 2:23 p.m. on Cherry Hill Court. A caller reported an individual who was going house to house taking pictures of windows and the interior of homes on the street.

GRAND THEFT: 2:40 p.m. on Camino Del Cerro. A resident said the tenants who moved out of her property took the furniture and art that belonged to her.


Jan. 19
STOLEN VEHICLE: 2:58 p.m. at Clifton Ave. A caller found their previously stolen van on Highway 17. The car was unoccupied with the keys still present, but some items were missing from the vehicle.

GRAND THEFT: 3:23 p.m. at Summit Bicycles on East Main Street. An individual reported a bicycle stolen, with a value of $6,500.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 5:31 p.m. at Towne Terrace. A caller got into a verbal argument with a neighbor after a confrontation about their children playing too loudly outside. The caller said the neighbor was now being loud inside their apartment, and felt like they were doing it on purpose.

DEFRAUDING AN INKEEPER: 11:36 a.m. on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller reported the use of nine counterfeit $20 bills in their store.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:34 p.m. on Calle Marguerita. Juveniles were ding-dong ditching all the neighbors.

PETTY THEFT: 9:52 a.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. A red women’s trek 850 bike that was chained up near the mailboxes was stolen.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 11:12 p.m. on Johnson Avenue. A caller reported a loud party of juveniles making loud noises.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 10:06 a.m. on University Avenue. Three construction workers were in a tree in the backyard. The caller told them they couldn’t be there on a holiday, and they told the caller they didn’t care.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 5:29 p.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and Alberto Way. A man was digging near a construction site and had a wheelbarrow and shovels. The caller was unsure if he was associated with the construction or trying to steal items from the site.


Jan. 2
SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 7:38 a.m. at Eye Motion Physical Therapy on National Avenue. A transient man was standing outside the door of the business. He wasn’t doing anything wrong, but the caller was there alone and requested that he move along.

AUTO BURGLARY: 2:44 p.m. on Castlewood Drive. A white Tiguan was broken into, and medical supplies and Christmas presents were stolen.


Jan. 6
TRESPASS: 8:36 p.m. at Bay Club Courtside on Winchester Boulevard. A homeless male kept coming in, yelling refusing to leave. He fell asleep in in the lobby.

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 7:23 a.m. at the Los Gatos Library on Villa Avenue. About 25 people were participating in a fitness class with loud music.
